PS3 Rocks!!
Impressive Service
I bought a PS3 in the first few months of its release. After having used and abused it for a few years I developed a fault where the CD-ROM stopped playing blue-ray disks. I spoke to their support team who confirmed this was an issue with the blue-ray part of the CD-ROM and without any questions arranged a pickup and replacement for a brand new console of the same type. This is whilst they knew my ps3 was out of warranty. This I must say is a rare experience when dealing with electric goods.
Thank you Sony
Thinking of buying a games console? buy a PS3 :
1. Blue ray - no need to buy an extra HD blue-ray player, comes as standard.
2. Divx Support/USB Drive Support - You can plug in a USB drive and play your divx films.
3. IBM's new Cell processor [used in high end IBM machines]

July 2007 Bastille-Mon
Bastille-mon This is a downloadable perl program that runs as a daemon on a linux server.
There might be something out there like it but not specifcally for Bastille, so I wrote this to work along side it.
Monitors logs coming in from firewall and blocks unathorised ips hitting unauthorised TCP/UDP ports.
If threshold hit - it will block ip on firewall and send an email to the originating spam IP block Ripe defined abuse email address (ie abuse email address from whois of ip).
SMTP postfix amavis spamassassin mysql
This is another one of the quick guides on a complete SMTP system - which if you setup succesfully will scan for viruses/spam and reject it all, with a basic perl s
cript to allow user addition to backend which all runs on mysql.
SpamCop - This is some older code - purpose - scan mail messages any marked as spam in subject line will be dealt with
ProAntispam(project from 2003).
